Jaime Clark
a.k.a. Fanatic born Providence, R I
started writing and recording at NY & NJ studios at the age of eleven, his first live performance, sponsored by Miss Jones of HOT 97 featuredat Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, NJ. In 1999 he released his first album “Street Instructions” a pivotal point in his career. As part of the submission process a demo of the album was presented to the director of the Music Conservatory at SUNY Purchase, he was accepted in 2000.  Among his many academic requirements Fanatic also promoted talent shows through open mic on campus. He graduated with a BFA in Music Production from SUNY Purchase in 2004.


In 2005 hefounded Signature Music record label. Projects included the production of original beats for promotional videos for Times Square Academy and NY fashion designer Susana Monaco. He was a featured performer at AS220 and The Black Repertory Theater.  Committed to contributing to his community as an instructor for an after school program teaching pre-production techniques to young adults at Times Square Academy and BSR Block Party at Brown University. During this time he produced a second album “Change Thoughts” which was released in 2007.


 
For his third album after running a successful Kickstarter campaign he released Religious Drug in 2015 working with longtime collaborators L.O.S., Jason Segal and Mad Mike Cullens of Hands On Productions.  Downloads and CD’s of Religious Drug available online at Amazon, iTunes, Tidal and CD Baby.  Fanatic’s newest venture is host of Signature Radio on BSRLive.com at Brown University an online music show featuring classic underground hip-hop. He recently performed songs from his “Religious Drug” album at the Met in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
